About Light Research LLC
Our Vision
Our vision at Light Research LLC is to be a leading healthcare research organization that is dedicated to solving complex problems that affect our world. We strive to be recognized for our commitment to excellence in research and for the positive impact of our work on improving patient quality of care. Our primary goal is to promote data transparency and to answer critical healthcare questions on behalf of our clients; our secondary goal is to identify potential vulnerabilities in our Medicare, and other, programs.
What We Do
Our core work consists of leveraging medical claims data to answer the most pressing questions our healthcare system currently faces. Using Medicare & Medicaid claims data obtained via the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) we apply data analytics to create reports that support a wide range of research. Our analysts apply their decades of healthcare claims experience to improve patient outcomes and publish pivotal trends derived from the data.
Our Approach
At Light Research LLC, we take a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach to our research projects. Our team of epidemiologists, statisticians, and data analysts work together to solve complex problems. We believe that quality healthcare relies on accurate data, which is what we aim to provide our customers. The process: clients come to us with a research question and, after a free consultation to determine if we can meet their goals, we collaborate with them to establish query parameters. We work on either an ad-hoc basis or a more long-term project basis.
